Troubleshooting#
The assistant can't connect#
- Use the exact URL
https://mcp.gamearly.com/mcp. The/mcpat the end is part of it. - A browser window must open for the Gamearly login. If it doesn't, look for a sign-in link in the client, or use an agent key.
- On Windows with an antivirus that scans web traffic, add an exception for the MCP URL if the client reports an invalid response.
- Behind a company proxy, allow the MCP URL's domain.
What the assistant tells you#
| The assistant says | What to do |
|---|---|
| AI agent access is turned off for this project | An administrator of the project turned it off. One of them can turn it back on in Project settings → AI agent access |
| The project wasn't included when connecting | Reconnect the assistant and pick that project, or "All my projects" |
| It doesn't have the permission | Reconnect it and tick the permission it names |
| The project doesn't let assistants do this | An administrator limited AI agent access on the project. They can change it in Project settings → AI agent access |
| Your role doesn't allow it | Ask a project administrator, or have them do it (builds, playtests and rewards need an administrator) |
| It needs a higher plan / the monthly quota is used | Follow the billing link it gives you |
| Too many requests | Wait a moment and ask again |
| The confirmation expired | Ask again: the assistant shows a fresh preview |
| The build has no executable | Zip the folder that contains the game's .exe, .app or Linux binary, not its parent or an installer |
| The connection was revoked | It was disconnected, it expired, or your password changed. Connect it again |
